Mr. Thierry Boitelle of Bonnard Lawson gave a very interesting presentation at the annual general meeting of TTN (“Transnational Taxation Network”) on 21 September 2012, held in Hotel de la Paix, Geneva, Switzerland.

The presentation title is “Is Switzerland still attractive?”. The first part of the presentation covers a range of upsides on Swiss strategic advantages, tax advantages and special regimes. But Mr. Boitelle does not step away and also addresses some of the recent negative press on Switzerland (“Switzerland bashing” – as eloquently put by the presenter) in the recent past. This all to round of with an interesting summary on some recent developments in Swiss (domestic) taxation and a conclusion as to why Switzerland is still attractive.

Interesting for all companies and individuals in Switzerland and those (considering) investing or domiciliation in Switzerland.
