Luc Vuurmans  is a partner at VBK+CO. Luc has over 30 years of experience providing administration services to investment funds and held senior positions with TMF Group and CITCO. Luc has assisted many banks, independent asset managers and family offices with setting up their investment funds (EU and non EU) and has broad experience in the areas of governance, product development, regulation and fund structuring.

Prior to VBK+CO, Luc was a co-founder and managing director of TMF Fund Services (1996-2011) and was based in Geneva, Switzerland. During this time he established and developed its Fund Administration service line with offices in The Netherlands, Malta, Switzerland, BVI, Australia and Bulgaria and had responsibility for investment fund structuring, product development, strategy, marketing, sales and client relations.

Before joining TMF Group, he was employed by CITCO during 16 years (1980-1996) and held various management positions in their offices in Curacao, New York, Amsterdam and Lausanne. In 1990 Luc became the general manager of the Swiss offices of CITCO in Lausanne and Geneva and he was in 1994 appointed as CITCO’s European fund services manager in charge of developing the third party fund administration business in Europe.

Luc graduated in Business Economics at the HES “Hogeschool voor Economische Studies” in Utrecht, the Netherlands in 1978.
